Dr. Joshua J Gooden was raised on a farm in western Kansas(Scott City). He attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS for 3 years. He left Tabor a year early when he was accepted into Optometry school in Memphis, TN. Dr. Gooden graduated from Southern College of Optometry in 1998. Upon graduation he joined Dr. Terry Nelson in Oakley and subsequently bought the practice in January of 1999. Dr. Gooden is on many boards in his community. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, Janeen, and their 4 children Dexter Thomas (8), Parker John (6), Carter James (4)and Tanner Jerrad (2). In his spare time you might find him golfing or playing with all four children outside.

William Clifford
Dr. Clifford joined Dr. Fry's practice in 1995. He completed a joint fellowship in the sub-specialties of cornea and glaucoma and spent a year on staff at the prestigious King Khaled Eye Specialty Hospital in Saudi Arabia. He is also certified by the America Board of Ophthalmology and is very active within the Kansas Ophthalmic Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
